4. Police are warning residents to be on the alert after a Bucks County resident lost $18,000 because of the so-called "Grandparent Scam." According to police, the scammers call an unsuspecting person and impersonate a grandchild – or another close relative – in a crisis situation, asking for immediate financial assistance. 5. An unaccompanied six-year-old child was accidentally placed on the wrong Spirit Airlines flight from Philadelphia to visit his grandma in Florida, reports said.
