Pennsylvania’s New Statewide Anti-Litter Program
Program seeks to get state residents to ensure that every piece of their trash, regardless of size, is disposed of properly.
Pennsylvania DOT Secretary Yassmin Gramian and Natasha Fackler, infrastructure implementation coordinator for PennDOT, talk about the commonwealth's new anti-litter program on AASHTO's ETAP Podcast.
PennDOT helped launch the new program – formally entitled “PA Fights Dirty: Every Litter Bit Matters” – in August along with several other state agencies. The creation of this campaign is one of the many recommendations made by Pennsylvania’s first-ever Litter Action Plan, released in December 2021.
