There is plenty to do, even if the weather looks a little dreary in the Philadelphia region this weekend. Here's what we found:
PENNSYLVANIA — There is fall fun aplenty this weekend in the Philadelphia area, even if Saturday is forecast to start a little rainy.
Catch the last weekend of Cirque Du Soleil under the big top, head out to a fall-themed festival, or grab your popcorn for a production of "Rocky Horror." Here's what's on tap this weekend (Oct. 21 and 22) in southeast Pennsylvania.
Pie, Poe, and Pumpkins event, Newtown

This event sponsored by the Historical Society features an apple pie contest, pumpkin carving, and readings of Edgar Allen Poe's works by actress Ceil Mann. Prizes will be awarded for the best pie. Anyone who has not registered for the apple pie contest can enter, though pre-registration is preferred. Bring your pie to the mill house General Store by 12:30 pm on the 21st. Cirque Du Soleil "Bazaar," Greater Philadelphia Expo Center

The iconic "Big Top" is once again on grounds of the Expo Center, long a prominent view to motorists along Route 422. Each year has a unique storyline and theme, and 2023's event is called "Bazzar." Organizers described it as a "high energy collision of sounds and colors." Acts include parkour, rope skipping, roller skating, contemporary dance, use of bungees, batons, acrobatic ladders, unicycles, and much more.
- Date and time: Saturday, Oct. 21 at 3:30 and 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Oct. 22 at 1 and 4:30 p.m.

Annual Ardmore Day, Ardmore
Ardmore Day is slated to return this year with the "Ardbark" dog parade, food vendors, sidewalk sales and more. Other activities include face painting, balloon artists, kids’ interactive games and a spooktacular trick-or-treating adventure through Ardmore local businesses.

Do the time-warp (again) at this musical, which inspired the 1975 classic cult film "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Actor, producer, and reality star Frankie Grande, heads the cast of an all-new production of “Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show” at Bucks County Playhouse running through October 28. Recommended viewing audience is 17 and over.

OctoberFeast At Peddler's Village, Lahaska
Geared towards visitors of all ages, the festival will include live entertainment, a beer and food garden, axe throwing for adults, pony rides for the kids, pumpkin painting, face painting, a bounce house, sand art, lawn games, and more.
