A federal judge's ruling nullified national mask mandates on transit and air travel. Will you unmask?
PENNSYLVANIA — Wearing a mask on public transit and on most commercial flights is now optional, after a federal judge nullified national mask mandate on transit by ruling the requirement is unconstitutional.
The ruling was followed by SEPTA lifting their own mandate, so that riders and employees on transit are not required to mask.
Travelers passing through Philadelphia International Airport still need to mask in terminals, as the city of Philadlephia has chosen to keep their own restrictions in place.

Amtrak, meanwhile, said that while they will not require masks, they are still firmly encouraged.
