1. We're still hyped up about Phillies starting pitcher Michael Lorenzen hurling the team's first no-hitter in eight years! Lorenzen's masterpiece came in just his second start as a Phillie after being acquired hours before the MLB trade deadline from the flagging Detroit Tigers. (Read more on Patch.)
2. Police say an "intentional act" lead to a car crashing into the second story of a Pennsylvania home earlier this week. Officials said that they were able to remove the Toyota Corolla from the roof, stabilize the house, and help the homeowners put a tarp over the gaping hole to protect the house as storms rolled in. 4. A man charged with an armed robbery of a gas station late last month was shot and killed by the FBI, according to reports. Agents were investigating a string of 7-11 armed robberies in the Philadelphia suburbs. (Read more on Patch.)
