• First responders in Lancaster County perform extrication training at annual hands-on exercise (dailydispatch.com) — Akron Volunteer Fire Company members joined more than 60 firefighters and EMS personnel from across Lancaster County for intensive vehicle-extrication training in Manheim. Using donated cars at Faulkner Collision Center, crews practiced rollovers, multi-car pileups, and dash removals to sharpen the life-saving skills they rely on when responding to serious crashes near Akron and throughout the county.
