• Family counselor admits to filming patients, staff in bathroom (audacy.com) — An Alburtis man and former family counselor has admitted in court to secretly recording patients and staff in the bathroom of his Quakertown office and taking inappropriate video of a minor. Prosecutors say there are more than 20 victims, and he now faces sentencing in August and mandatory sex offender registration.
   

• Motorcyclist Killed In Crash On Route 222 Identified By Lehigh County Coroner (dailyvoice.com) — An Alburtis resident, 39-year-old motorcyclist Luis C. Sousa, was killed Thursday afternoon when his bike left Route 222 in Upper Macungie Township and struck a steel cable barrier. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and authorities say the investigation by the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office and Upper Macungie police is still ongoing.
