• Former caretaker charged with stealing in excess of $50,000 from client in Muncy Township (sungazette.com) — An elderly man now living with his son in Allenwood is at the center of a major theft case, as his former caretaker is accused of forging dozens of his checks. Police say the alleged scheme, which began while he lived with her in Muncy Township, siphoned more than $55,000 and even funded a pricey ring, leading to 80 criminal charges.
