• Man killed after stabbing in Altoona, suspect in custody (wtaj.com) — Altoona police report that a man was found fatally stabbed in an 8th Avenue apartment, and another resident, Raymond Oechsle, has been arrested and held without bail in Blair County Prison. Investigators say Oechsle allegedly confessed during questioning, and he now faces multiple felony charges including murder and burglary as authorities continue to develop the case.
