Under state and federal laws, if the consumer prevails in the case, the manufacturer must pay all legal fees on top of that the consumer receives in settlement, making services from Kimmel and Silverman free to drivers. Under state laws, drivers can receive one of three things for there case:

  • A complete repurchase of their vehicle (minus the mileage)
  • A brand new vehicle (a trade without depreciation)
  • Monetary settlement and the complainant can keep the car

A lemon law firm is necessary because in the case, the manufacturer is the defendant, not the dealership. Clients have an educated and experienced attorney working on the case and there is no cost and no risk to filing a claim.
