Blue Bell Citizens Bank Slated for Closure

In mid-November, Citizen Bank of Philadelphia announced it would be closing nine branches in the Philadelphia region.

At the time of the initial announcement, Philly.com reported that of those nine branches, seven would be in southeastern Pennsylvania, one in southern New Jersey, and one in northern Delaware.

Philadelphia Business Journal is reporting that Citizens Bank has filed plans with the Pennsylvania Department of Banking to close or consolidate eight locations.

Of those locations, the Citizens Bank branch at 1777 Sentry Park West in Blue Bell is slated to close.
