Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association will host a St. Patrick's Day walk, March 17 at 1 p.m., out of the parking lot at Prophecy Creek Park.
The walk will traverse Briar Hill Preserve, the 100-acre treasure of natural land along Lewis Lane. It's a great bird-watching site, home to a variety of wildlife. The walk features natural, unpaved trails and some hilly terrain. Well-behaved leashed dogs are welcome.
Reservations are encouraged, but not required. Call 215-646-8866 or e-mail info@wvwa.org for more information.
