The YMCA is joining forces with other water safety and training organizations for The World's Largest Swimming Lesson, June 14 at 11:45 a.m.
The event will help create awareness about the vital importance of teaching children how to swim, in order to prevent drowning.
The World's Largest Swimming Lesson was created to serve as a platform to help local community aquatic facilities to stress the importance of learning now to swim on a local and national level.
