The Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association's Summer Walk will be held June 26 at 1 p.m.
The group will meet in the parking lot off Butler Pike, near the corner of Skippack Pike in Broad Axe, then splitting into two walks: a dog-friendly walk, and a guided, more leisurely walk without dogs.
The walk will highlight Willow Lake Farm, a magnificent 109-acre preserve which was the gift of a family with a deep love of open space and nature. Pastures and woodland provide habitat for many species of flora and fauna, all of which share this preserve with horses.
