Five Wissahickon Teachers Honored As 'Microsoft Innovation Educators'
Excellent work by these Wissahickon teachers.

AMBLER, PA — Five Wissahickon School District teachers have been selected for a unique honor, the district announced.
The teachers were named Microsoft Innovative Educators, recognized for their skill in using technology as an educational tool.
Dianne Krause (Instructional Technology Specialist) was selected for the fourth year in a row; Sue Degnan (Staff Developer) for the third year; Liesl Madden (4th grade teacher) for the second year and Kathleen Donahue (Middle School Language Arts teacher) and Joann Groark (6th grade teacher) for the first time, the district said.

According to Wissahickon:
"As an MIE Expert, educators build their capacity for using technology in both the classroom and curriculum to improve student learning, advise Microsoft and educational institutions on how to integrate technology in pedagogically sound ways and be an advocate at conferences, events and trainings for how Microsoft technology can improve learning."
