Leading Retirement Community The Hill at Whitemarsh Welcomes William McCormick as CFO

William McCormick has joined The Hill at Whitemarsh, Philadelphia's leading continuing care retirement community, as Chief Financial Officer

PHILADELPHIA, November 6, 2015 – William McCormick, CPA, has joined The Hill at Whitemarsh, Philadelphia’s leading continuing care retirement community (www.TheHillatWhitemarsh.org), as Chief Financial Officer. As part of the Executive Team, McCormick will be leading the finance, IT, investor relations, risk management, and compliance functions.

Prior to joining The Hill at Whitemarsh, McCormick was the CFO and Treasurer for PITCAIRN, an innovator in the multi-generational family wealth management industry. He had been with PITCAIRN for 26 years and his responsibilities there included delivering effective financial management, risk management, audit coordination, regulatory liaison, as well as managing human resources and building administration. He began his career as an Audit Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers.

McCormick was born and raised in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accountancy from Villanova University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the AICPA and the PICPA. McCormick is currently a resident of Lower Gwynedd, and is married with three children.
