New Hair Salon Glams Up Ambler: Glam Hair Studio Offers V.I.P Treatment By Redken Certified, Stylists in Ultra Modern Space

For the past several years, the picturesque community of Ambler has been undergoing a resurgence with sleek new restaurants, bars and shops coming into town. Now, it appears that its residents will also have access to the latest hair, makeup and nail styles as well, thanks to the opening of Glam Hair Studio.

Located at 32 W. Skippack Pike (Just behind Phil’s and Broad Axe), Glam’s owners Jeffrey and Denni Herbetko (a husband and wife team) enjoyed a soft opening a few weeks ago and have continued to bring in both new and existing clients since then.

“The experience has been great so far,” said Denni. “Once a client walks through our doors, he or she doesn’t want to leave because we immediately make everyone feel like they are part of the family.”

Family is an important value that Glam Hair Studio incorporates into its day-to-day operations. Each employee feels like family and is encouraged to grow within the company. Weekly staff meetings are more like brainstorming sessions on ways to make the customer’s experience even better and ways to improve the overall business. And each meeting always ends with a genuine group hug. It’s this personal connection that translates to its clients.

Upon entering Glam, each client is greeted warmly by several employees, offered a beverage and a seat in the lounge or at the innovative “color bar” where he or she can watch stylists mix color to the exact shade.

Glam prides itself on its coloring abilities. In fact, Denni, a Redken certified colorist, was most recently nominated for Best Color 2016 on the Montgomery Happenings List.

The salon, which moved from Spring House where it operated for 21 years, is also well known for its haircuts and styles. In fact, Jeffrey is not only the owner but also travels the country as the Mainstage Redken Performing Artist. While on these trips, he has exposure to trends months before they hit the magazines and always prepares his staff for what is coming.

“As the National Performing Artist for Redken, my goal is to inspire and empower my staff to bring out the best in themselves, so that they can bring out the best in our guests,” said Jeff.
