Rose N. Bonanni, 88, of Conshohocken
Rose was a loving homemaker who enjoyed knitting and was a talented baker.

Rose N. Bonanni, 88, of Conshohocken, died peacefully on April 10, 2012 at Keystone House Hospice.
She was the beloved wife of the late William P. Bonanni.
She was born in Philadelphia, PA on June 22, 1923 to the late Salvatore and Maria (Piccone) Russo.
Rose attended St. Mary of the Eternal School in Philadelphia. She went on to hairdressing and cosmetology school and taught hairdressing at Marinello School of Beauty in Philadelphia.
She was a loving homemaker who enjoyed knitting and was a talented baker. Affectionately known as the "Cookie Lady", Rose took great joy in baking cakes and cookies for many occasions.
She also did baking and craft demonstrations for various organizations, lodges, societies, including the Inglis House and Northeast High School.
Rose was a devoted member of SS. Cosmas and Damian Church in Conshohocken where she baked goodies for the church feast for many years.
She was a charter member and president of the Sons of Italy Avanti Lodge of Greater Roxborough.
Rose attended numerous senior citizen church groups including St. Philip Neri Church and Epiphany of Our Lord. She also enjoyed playing cards with her card group and her winters in Florida.
She is survived by 2 children Laura Melillo of Conshohocken, Anthony Bonanni and Elinor of Ft. Washington,
4 grandchildren Maria Melillo Henzes, Joseph Melillo, Lisa and Anthony Bonanni, 5 great-grandchildren Leah, Michael, Logan, Luke, Gabriele, a brother Salvatore Russo of Yardley, and many nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by son-in-law Gabriel Melillo, siblings Jennie Guidotti, Carmella Celia, Anna Lostraco, Thomas Russo.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Rose's name to SS. Cosmas and Damian Church are appreciated.
