Sisters Bring Best of Bridal Business to Ambler

Downtown bridal store opened in 2003 and brings best of the bridal world to downtown Ambler.

April Hoover and Michelle Santo were born and raised in Ambler. It seemed only right when they decided to work on their dream shop, that they open it up to their own hometown.

April, who was the maid of honor in her sister’s wedding, helped Michelle with every detail to make the blushing bride’s day picture perfect. The two made such a good team, and enjoyed the journey so much, they decided they should make it a full-time job.

The duo started Arielle Bridal in August of 2003. They’ve been brining the latest and greatest in bridal fashions to Ambler ever since.

The team said it was a store the town could use.

“Being born and raised in Ambler, we knew that there weren’t any bridal shops in the immediate area, so there was definitely a need for one,” said Hoover and Santo. “In addition, we have seen Ambler transform through the years with its diverse shops and restaurants, it is such a great town and we wanted to keep our roots.”

The owners offer local shoppers great options.

“[We have] one-stop shopping, everything she needs for herself, from her wedding gown down to her undergarments,” they said of helping a bride prepare for her big day. The shop has items for brides, the entire bridal party and mothers. The two owners pride themselves on the “exceptional one-on-one service.”

With a finger on the pulse of fashion, the two also help ladies find the latest in trends for her big day.

“Flowers, feathers and ruffles,” said Hoover and Santo of the trends coming to the aisle this year. “The full ball gowns are back.  The bigger the better, strapless or one-shoulder.”

The girls have seen many brides asking for more flowers, too.

“Three-dimensional flowers and feathers are adorning the tulle ball gowns,” said the owners. “In addition to the tulle, we are seeing ruffles galore.”

Santo and Hoover said that having great products is just a start.

“The owners and staff are young and hip, keeping up with the latest trends and fashions,” they said. “We make all of our customers feel like family.”

The Arielle Bridal owners also said the store has much to offer Ambler brides.

“[Brides should come in] to see our wonderful selection,” said Santo and Hoover. “We highly recommend making an appointment, so we can guarantee one-on-one service, but walk-ins are welcome.”
