Try a New Restaurant During "I Like the Pike" Nights

As part of the “I Like The Pike” initiative, the township is announcing “I Like The Pike” Nights.  The concept is for families or individuals to visit Bethlehem Pike restaurants for dinner either before or after attending the 2012 Summer Concert Series at Oxford Park hosted by Lower Gwynedd Parks and Recreation which begin at 7 p.m. Restaurants will offer an “I Like The Pike” Night special on these evenings after 5 p.m. until closing.

“I Like the Pike Nights are a great opportunity for a complete family night out,” said Board of Supervisors Vice President Kathleen Hunsicker. “Combining the excellent dining experiences along the pike with a free community concert is a perfect fit.”

Several area eateries including: , , , , and are lending support to the effort by offering specials on Wednesday evenings from July 11 to August 8.  Wawa has offered to join in with in-kind donations for the concerts.
