Vintage Women's Boutique Opening in Ambler

Nicole Burns has always wanted to open a clothing store and has always been into vintage fashion. The timing was right and she knew its what she really wanted to do, so she opened in Ambler.

She said the new boutique, which is set to open on Black Friday, will be strictly vintage clothing, purses, shoes and accessories.

Everything in the store is hand picked by Burns and close friends and the feel of the store is a reflection of her and her style.

Her items are from the 1900's to early 1980's. She said at Patina Vintage, you’re not going to find something that someone else is wearing and there won’t be 3 or 5 of the same item.

She added that all the clothing is personally hand washed or professionally cleaned before going on the shelves.

She added that buying vintage is good for the environment because the clothing does not go into a landfill. “It should be something we think about,” she said.

She will purchase vintage items outright; there will be no consignment. She’ll also take appointments for personal shopping for women who want personal attention as they shop for a vintage wardrobe.
