Wissahickon Schools Close Early Monday

AMBLER, PA -- The Wissahickon School District will close early Monday due to the coming storm, officials announced.

A wintry mix of sleet and snow planned to hit the area between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. All schools will close two hours earlier than their usual closing time.

All after school and evening activities have been cancelled.

A winter weather advisory has been issued in Eastern Pennsylvania, the National Weather Service said.
