25 More Coronavirus Cases Reported In Lower Merion

The township has nearly 100 cases of the new coronavirus, but has not had any deaths, according to the county.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — There are now nearly 100 cases of the new coronavirus, or COVID-19, in Lower Merion Township, according to the Montgomery County Health Department.

The county said Monday Lower Merion has 25 more cases of the virus since Sunday.

Now, the township has 94 cases — the most in the county — but no deaths.

Six deaths have been reported in the county: two in Abington, and one each in Whitemarsh, Norristown, Springfield, and Cheltenham.

Montgomery County has 506 cases as of Monday.

Statewide, Pennsylvania has 4,087 cases in 59 counties.
