$25K In Property Stolen In Villanova Home Burglary: Police

Lower Merion Township Police said someone forced their way into a Woodfield Road home in Villanova sometime over the past five weeks.

VILLANOVA, PA — Police in Lower Merion Township said a burglary resulted thousands of dollars worth of property being stolen in the last five weeks.

According to police, a home on the 700 block of Woodfield Road in Villanova was broken into sometime in the past five weeks.

The victim reported the burglary to police on March 16 and said within the past four weeks someone forced open the home's mudroom door.

Police said the estimated total estimated loss was $25,000. However, they did not specify what it was that was stolen.
