$450K In Equipment Stolen From Lankenau Hospital

Lower Merion Police said three people stole hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of equipment from the Wynnewood facility recently.

WYNNEWOOD, PA — Hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of medical equipment was stolen from Lankenau Hospital in Wynnewood recently, according to Lower Merion Police.

According to police, the theft occurred Saturday, April 20.

At least three people, two men and one woman, were involved in the theft, police said.

The suspects got into a secured area and removed numerous Olympus Colonoscopes.

The stolen items have an approximate value of $450,000, police said.

Police said a dark, newer model Jeep Wrangler with four doors and a hard top was used by the suspects.

One suspect is described as a white man in his early 20s who was possibly wearing a wig with curly hair, glasses, a dark sweatshirt, blue jeans, black sneakers with white soles and carrying a black back pack.

The other man is described as being white and in his late 40s. He was wearing a gray fedora hat, a colored coat, scarf, blue jeans, black boots, and carrying a black back pack.

Police described the woman as being in her 20s who was wearing a pink winter ski cap, black jacket, white shirt, blue jeans, and white sneakers.
