5th Lower Merion Home Burglary Reported In 4 Days

Wynnewood and Ardmore homes have been the recent targets of burglars, with guns being stolen from one Ardmore home, police said.

ARDMORE, PA – A fifth home burglary in just four days' time has been reported in Lower Merion Township, according to police.

Police said a home on the 200 block of Lippincott Avenue in Ardmore was hit by burglars during the daytime Tuesday, July 31.

The burglars got inside the home by using a ladder to get to a second-floor window then pushed in an air conditioner, according to police.

Once inside the suspects stole jewelry and sneakers, police said.

Homes in Wynnewood and Ardmore were broken into over the weekend and early in the week, with guns being stolen in one case.

On Monday, the guns were stolen from an Ardmore home on the 200 block of Mill Creek Road during a daytime burglary.

Additionally, Wynnewood homes on the 700 block of Greythorne Road and 100 the block of Rock Glen Road were burglarized Saturday, July 28.

A home on the 100 block of Glenn Road in Ardmore was broken into on Sunday, July 29, as well.
