• Lower Merion School Board Member Resigns After Theft Charges (patch.com) — Residents in the Lower Merion School District, which serves Ardmore, will soon see a vacancy on the school board after member Jennifer Rivera resigned following felony theft charges tied to a former employer. The board plans a special meeting on Sept. 14 to vote on accepting her resignation and will have 30 days to appoint a replacement, with details on the selection process to be shared publicly.
