• Tax Hike Expected In Lower Merion As 2027 Budget Talks Begin (patch.com) — Lower Merion residents, including those in Ardmore, are being warned to expect another potential property tax hike in the proposed 2027 budget as rising personnel, health care, and storm-related costs strain township finances. Commissioners will get their first detailed look at department requests during a public budget workshop at the Township Administration Building on East Lancaster Avenue in Ardmore, where residents can attend in person or via Zoom.
   

• SEPTA Paoli/Thorndale and Cynwyd lines suspended due to Amtrak overhead wire issues (inquirer.com) — Regional rail riders in Ardmore should be prepared for major disruptions this morning, as Paoli/Thorndale outbound trains from Center City and all Cynwyd Line service are suspended due to Amtrak overhead wire problems. SEPTA officials don't yet know when full service will resume, so commuters using Ardmore Transit Center and nearby stations should monitor updates before heading out.
