Ardmore Crash Sends One To Hospital Thursday

A single-car crash sent the sole occupant driver to Lankenau Medical Center after they were entrapped in the vehicle, responders said.

ARDMORE, PA — One person was taken to a hospital following a car crash in Lower Merion Township Thursday night, according to authorities.

The Penn Wynne Fire Company said at about 8:20 p.m. Thursday, a vehicle crashed into a tree at Valley and Mill Creek roads in Ardmore.

The sole occupant of the vehicle was trapped and a small fire complicated the rescue, according to the fire company.

After the driver was extricated form the vehicle Narberth Ambulance took them to Lankenau Medical Center's trauma unit, the fire company said.
