Ardmore Man Facing Felony Robbery, Assault Charges
An Ardmore man is one of two men accused of assaulting and robbing a person in Wayne back in early October.
ARDMORE, PA — An Ardmore man is facing felony charges after being accused of assaulting and robbing a person back in early October in the Wayne section of Radnor Township, police said.
According to Radnor Police, Tahj Malik Wheeler, 19, of Ardmore, and Nathaniel Holmes, 19, of Chester, were arrested and charged following a robbery on Oct. 5 near Cabrini University and Valley Forge Military Academy campuses.
Police said the victim was walking home and was approached by two men who assaulted him with a weapon and struck him with their fists.

After taking victim’s personal items and money the two fled the area, police said.
Holmes and Wheeler were arrested on Oct. 9 with the help of Tredyffrin Township Police, Radnor Police said.

Both are facing felony robbery, felony aggravated assault, possession of a weapon, and related charges, court records show.
They were each released after posting 10 percent of $10,000 bail and slated for Nov. 14 preliminary hearings, according to court documents.
