ARDMORE, PA -- An Ardmore man allegedly wrote racist messages inside the Parx Casino where the Bucks County NAACP was about to meet, the Bucks County District Attorney's Office announced Wednesday.
Peter Jeanette, 54, who is white, was charged with ethnic intimidation, harassment, and multiple counts of disorderly conduct, the DA's office said.

According to the DA's office, the incident occurred on the afternoon of Oct. 21 in the Parx East area of the Bensalem casino.
Employees found a paper towel with "Death To All [expletive]" written on it, which included a slur toward black people, that had been left on a first-floor table, according to a probable cause affidavit.

Employees who were preparing that area for an annual banquet attended by members of the Bucks County NAACP discovered the note, the DA's office said. Signage had already been posted in the general area for the event, the DA's office said.
Jeanette was identified through surveillance video at Parx, which showed him in the first-floor area where the note was found, the DA's office said.
Footage showed Jeanette leaving a restroom in the area and then leaving the note on the table where employees discovered it, the DA's office said.
Jeanette was arrested after returning to Parx East the next afternoon, the DA's office said. He admitted to leaving the note to police, saying “he did it as a prank and meant no ill intent,” the probable cause affidavit states.
District Attorney Matthew D. Weintraub called Jeanette’s conduct “is not only offensive, it is criminal.”
“We will not tolerate race-based intimidation and harassment here in Bucks County," Weintraub said. "It is anathema to everything we stand for as Americans.”
Jeanette is scheduled to appear before Magisterial District Judge Joseph P. Falcone on Dec. 15 for his preliminary hearing.
