Ardmore's Pierce Named to All-Mid-American Conference Team
The junior tailback has been crushing all Temple rushing records.

Ardmore native , the junior running back at Temple University who has been obliterating record after rushing record at the school all year, was named with nine of his fellow Owl teammates to the All-Mid-American Conference squad, the league announced Wednesday.
A first-team selection, it was the third consecutive year Pierce made All-MAC (in 2009, he was also MAC Freshman of the Year).
Over 11 games this fall, he has churned up 1,381 yards and scored 25 touchdowns on 248 carries, making him the top MAC scorer overall (150 points). That puts him in the national race for the Heisman: he is ranked second in the nation in points per game (13.64), second in rushing TDs (25) and seventh in overall rushing.

According to OwlSports.com, Pierce is already atop Temple's career charts, ranking first in rushing touchdowns (51), first in total touchdowns (52), second in rushing yards (3,470), and seciond in 100-yard games (17)—and he has another whole season ahead of him.
