Armed Robbers Hit New Ardmore Eatery Wednesday Night
Lower Merion Township Police said two masked men came into the restaurant at around closing time and demanded money.
ARDMORE, PA — A new eatery in Ardmore was the victim of an armed robbery Wednesday night, according to Lower Merion Township Police.
Police said at about 10 p.m. Wednesday, two men in masks came into Hip City Veg at 76 Coulter Avenue in Ardmore. The business just opened June 8.
The men came into the business around closing time and demanded money from workers, police said.

They then fled the scene in an unknown direction, police said.
The men were described as being about 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing about 230 pounds. They were wearing Dickies work clothes, police said. Police did not say what the men were armed with.
