Bala Cynwyd Store Robbed At Gunpoint

BALA CYNWYD, PA — An armed robbery occurred early Friday morning in Bala Cynwyd, police said.

According to Lower Merion Township Police, the robbery occurred at 3:28 a.m. Friday at a store in Bala Cynwyd. Police did not say what store was targeted.

A man came into the store and pointed a handgun at employees, demanding cash from the register, police said.

The man left on foot and was last seen heading north toward the Bala Shopping Center parking lot.

Police described the man as black, 25 to 30 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black mask.
