Burglary, Robbery, Thefts From Cars, More: Lower Merion Crime Blotter

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Lower Merion Township released details for about a week's worth of crime incidents.

Incidents occurred between Sept. 10 and Sept. 19.

Sept. 19

Theft of Motor Vehicle (Gladwyne) - Victim's unlocked vehicle with the keys left inside was stolen from the driveway during the overnight hours.

Theft From Motor Vehicle (Gladwyne) - Victim's unlocked vehicle was rummaged through overnight and items were taken.

Attempt Theft From Motor Vehicle (Wynnewood) - Two unlocked vehicles were entered and rummaged through in the victim's driveway during the overnight hours.

Attempt Theft of Motor Vehicle (Wynnewood) - Victim's vehicle was entered and attempted to be stolen from the driveway during the overnight hours.

Sept. 18

Theft of Packages (Overbrook)- A package was taken from the victim's porch sometime around 1700 hours.

Attempt Theft From Building (Haverford)- Victim's storage locker was entered sometime over the past couple months.

Sept. 17

Robbery-Strong Arm (Bala Cynwyd) - Store manager was assaulted after a male tried stealing from the store.

Sept. 14

Burglary (Ardmore)- Male entered the building attempting to gain access into business offices.

Sept. 13

Theft (Bryn Mawr) - Two checks were stolen from a mailbox, altered and cashed.

Attempt Theft From Motor Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - Victim's vehicle window was shattered, unknown loss at this time.

Sept. 12

Attempted Theft from Motor Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - Victim's vehicle window was smashed during the overnight nights hours and rummaged through.

Theft from Motor Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - Victim's vehicle window was smashed during the overnight nights hours and items taken.

Attempted Theft from Motor Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - Victim's vehicle window was smashed during the overnight nights hours and rummaged through.

Theft From Residence (Merion) - Victim had a valuable item taken from their backyard during the overnight hours.

Theft Of Motor Vehicle (Merion) - Victim's unlocked vehicle was stolen during the overnight hours.

Sept. 11

Theft From Motor Vehicle (Gladwyne) - Victim's wallet was removed from an unlocked vehicle while at a local park.

Attempted Theft From Motor Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - Victim's window was smashed and rummaged through.

Sept. 10

Theft Of Motor vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - Victim's vehicle was forcibly entered and stolen during the overnight hours.

Attempted Theft of Motor Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - Victim's vehicle was forcibly entered, and steering column was damaged in an attempt to steal the vehicle.

Attempted Theft of Motor Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - Victim's vehicle was forcibly entered, and steering column was damaged in an attempt to steal the vehicle.
