LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Lower Merion Township issued details on recent crimes in the township.

These incidents occurred between March 12 and March 24.

March 24

• Burglary (Gladwyne) - A burglary was discovered by a dog sitter returning to the residence. Access was gained by breaking a rear patio door and ransacking was discovered inside. The investigation into this incident is continuing.

March 23

• Burglary (Gladwyne) - Officer's responding to an alarm activation discovered a recent burglary at a vacant residence. Access was gained to the residence by breaking a rear set of french doors and ransacking was discovered inside. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.

March 21

• Theft of Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - Victim's Hyundai was stolen overnight while parked in the parking lot of their apartment complex. It appears a window was broken out to gain access to the vehicle. The investigation into this incident is continuing.

March 20

• Theft from Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - Multiple victims reported that a few days prior a actor is seen attempting to enter their vehicle which was parked along the street in front of the residence. The investigation into this incident is continuing.

March 16

• Theft from Vehicle (Gladwyne) - Victim had a passenger side window of their Kia broken out while parked at a local park. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.

March 15

• Theft from Vehicle (Wynnewood) - Victim had a passenger side window of their Nissan broken out and the interior of the vehicle was rummaged through. The Nissan was parked along the roadway in front of the residence. The investigation into this incident is continuing
• Theft from Vehicle (Wynnewood) - Victim had a driver side window of their Jeep broken out. The Jeep was parked along the roadway in front of the residence. The investigation into this incident is continuing.
• Theft from Vehicle (Overbrook) - Victim reported that two unlocked vehicles were entered and gone through while parked along the roadway in front of their residence. The investigation into this incident is continuing.
• Theft from Vehicle (Overbrook) - Victim reported that their unlocked vehicle was entered and gone through overnight. The investigation into this incident is continuing.
• Theft of Purse (Bala Cynwyd) - Victim's purse and wallet were stolen from the back of a chair while dinning at a local restaurant. The investigation into this incident is continuing.

• Theft from Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - Victim had the passenger side window of his vehicle broken out while parking in a shopping center. The investigation into this incident is continuing.

March 12

• Theft of Vehicle (Penn Valley) - Victim's Jeep Grand Cherokee was stolen from the driveway of their residence in the overnight hours. The investigation into this incident is continuing.
