Burglary, Strong Arm Robbery, Thefts, More: Lower Merion Crime Blotter

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Lower Merion Township released a week's worth of crime incidents from earlier this month recently.

Sept. 7

Burglary (Wynnewood) - Male forced his way into a business, and fled the area when startled by an employee on site.

Theft Of Motor Vehicle (Wynnewood) - Vehicle with keys left inside was taken from the driveway at 4:20 a.m.

Theft From Motor Vehicle (Ardmore) - Unlocked Vehicle was entered during the overnight hours, where loose change was taken.

Theft From Residence (Bala Cynwyd) - Theft of an Amazon package from the victim's porch during daytime hours.

Strong-Armed Robbery (Bala Cynwyd) - Victim was walking to their vehicle when confronted by two males demanding their car's keys. Males fled the area without the vehicle. Victim discovered the window smashed and the dashboard wires damaged and exposed.

Sept. 6

Theft From Motor Vehicle (Gladwyne) - Victim's unlocked vehicle was entered during the overnight hours where several items of value was taken.

Theft Of Motor Vehicle (Penn Valley) - Victim's unlocked vehicle with the keys left inside of it, was taken from the driveway at 5:30 a.m.

Theft From Motor Vehicle (Haverford) - Victim's unlocked vehicle was entered during the overnight hours where valuable items were taken.

Suspicious Circumstances (Penn Valley) - Male was observed filming children at a bus stop in the area.

Theft From Motor Vehicle (Villanova) - Unlocked vehicles in the driveway were rummaged through during the overnight hours.

Sept. 5

Indecent Exposure (Bala Cynwyd) - Male was arrested for indecent exposure after revealing his genitals to several women in a public business.

Sept. 2

Theft Of Wallet (Bryn Mawr) - Victim had their wallet taken from a purse while seeing a movie in the theater. No one observed. The wallet was located in Philadelphia with multiple fraudulent charges attempted on the victim’s credit cards.

Sept. 1

Theft From Vehicle (Belmont Hills) - Multiple bags were taken from an unlocked vehicle parked along the street while the owners were packing for the shore.

Theft From Residence (Bala Cynwyd) - Several items taken from a porch during overnight hours.
