Burglary, Theft, Pickpocketing: Lower Merion Crime Blotter

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Lower Merion Township recently released details on several crime incidents in the township.

The incidents occurred between Oct. 20 and Oct. 24.

Oct. 24

Attempt Theft from Motor Vehicle (Wynnewood) - Victim's unlocked vehicle was rummaged through during the overnight hours.

Attempt Theft from Motor Vehicle (Merion) - Victim's unlocked vehicle was rummaged through during the overnight hours.

Oct. 22

Burglary (Villanova) - Rear door was forced to victims residence and heavy ransacking took place.

Oct. 21

Theft of Package (Gladwyne) -Victim's package was taken from their front porch sometime during the day.

Theft from Motor Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd)- Victim's unlocked vehicle was entered during the overnight hours and items were taken.

Pickpocket (Ardmore)- Victims wallet was taken while shopping in Suburban Square.

Oct. 20

Theft Of Package (Ardmore) - Victim reports that their package was stolen off their front porch during the daytime hours.

Theft over $200 (Overbrook) - Victims scooter that was locked up was taken from the parking lot.

Theft of Wallet (Wynnewood) - Victims wallet was stolen while at a gas station.
