LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Lower Merion released details on the latest crime incidents in the township recently.

These incidents occurred between Aug. 26 and Sept. 2.

Sept. 2

• Theft of Vehicle (Belmont Hills) - The victim reported that their Mitsubishi was stolen in the overnight hours while parked along the street in front of their residence. The keys to the vehicle were left inside the vehicle. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
• Attempted Theft from Vehicle (Penn Valley) - Multiple victims advised that security cameras picked up actors approach vehicles parked in their driveways overnight. The actors are observed attempting to open car doors, however they were all locked. The investigation into the incident is continuing.
• Theft from Vehicle (Penn Valley) - The victim reported that their unlocked Honda was entered and gone through overnight while parked in the driveway of their residence. The investigation into the incident is continuing.
• Burglary (Bala Cynwyd) - The victim reported that the front door to their apartment was forced open, however entry was not gained into the apartment. The investigation into the incident is continuing.
• Theft of Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - The victim reported that their Ford was stolen overnight from where it was parked along the street in front of their residence. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
• Theft (Penn Valley) - The victim reported that two Amazon packages were stolen from the front porch of their residence over the weekend. The investigation is continuing.

Aug. 31

• Robbery - Carjacking (Penn Wynne) - The victim was approached by a male actor while pumping gas at a local gas station. The actor displayed a black semi-automatic handgun and demanded the victim's keys to their Mazda. The Mazda was last seen fleeing south on City Avenue. The investigation into the incident is continuing.

Aug. 30

• Theft of Vehicle (Bryn Mawr) - The victim reported that their Volvo was stolen during the overnight hours. The Volvo had been parked along the street in front of their residence and may have been unlocked with keys left inside. The investigation into the incident is continuing.
• Theft from Vehicle (Bryn Mawr) - The victim reported that the catalytic converter was removed from their Volkswagon in the overnight hours while parked along the street in front of the residence where they were staying. The investigation into the incident is continuing.

Aug. 27

• Theft from Vehicle (Bryn Mawr) - The victim reported that their unlocked Ford was entered and gone through overnight while parked along the roadway near their residence. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Aug. 26

• Theft from Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - The victim reported that their license plate was stolen off the rear of his Chevrolet while parked along the roadway in front of their residence. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
• Theft of Wallet (Wynnewood) - The victim reported that their wallet was stolen from their purse while shopping at a local grocery store. The victim stated their purse was placed within the shopping cart while in the store. The investigation into the incident is continuing.
