Crash Leads To Brief Chase In Lower Merion: Police
Lower Merion Police said the driver crashed into a telephone pole then drove off, starting a brief pursuit, before the vehicle stopped.
LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Lower Merion Township were led on a brief pursuit of a vehicle that crashed into a telephone pole early Friday morning.
The incident started at about 12:30 a.m. on the 200 block of Meeting House Lane, police said.

The driver then fled the scene when officers arrived, leading officers on a brief chase, about 200 yards, police said.
Police said the vehicle eventually stopped due to it missing a front tire.

The driver was taken to a hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Charges have not been filed as police are investigating the incident, authorities said.
