DUI Crackdown In Lower Merion Lasting Through New Year

Now through Jan. 2, 2024, police in Lower Merion Township will be conducting impaired driving patrols around the township.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — During this holiday season, Lower Merion Township Police will be out in force cracking down on impaired driving.

Now through Jan. 2, 2024, police are conducting impaired driving patrols around the township.

The initiative is in partnership with a national impaired driving crackdown featuring intensified, highly visible enforcement activities using the tagline "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over."

The focus will be on finding drivers who are operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances.

Roving Patrol Details are funded by a PennDOT grant and are one of many tools used to increase public safety through increased awareness created by high profile enforcement.
