DUI Crackdown In Lower Merion Next Week
Police will be out patrolling for drivers who are impaired for a few days next week to keep Lower Merion's roads safe.
LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — You've been warned: Lower Merion Township Police are planning a three-day-long crackdown on impaired driving in the township.
Police said its officers will be out in force between Monday, April 8 and Wednesday, April 10 bringing and DUI driver to justice.
Impaired Driving Roving Patrols will be ongoing through the township during those days.

This initiative is in partnership with a national impaired driving crackdown featuring intensified, highly visible enforcement activities using the tagline "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over."
The focus will be on finding motorists who are operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances.

Roving Patrol Details are funded by a PennDOT grant and are one of many tools utilized to increase public safety through increased awareness created by high profile enforcement.
