DUI Crackdown Underway In Lower Merion Township

Don't let the Eagles Super Bowl appearance cloud your judgement and drive while under the influence of drugs or alcohol this weekend.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — With the Eagles in the Super Bowl this weekend, Lower Merion Police will be out in force looking for impaired drivers.

Police now through Feb. 17 will be cracking down on DUI.

Impaired Driving Patrols will be roving the township through Feb. 17.

The focus will be on finding motorists who are operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances.

These patrols are funded by a PennDOT grant and are one of many tools used to increase public safety through increased awareness created by high profile enforcement.
