DUI Patrols For Next Week Across Lower Merion

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Lower Merion Township Police for the next week will be out in force cracking down on impaired driving.

From Friday, Sept. 9 through Friday, Sept. 16, police will be conducting Impaired Driving Patrols throughout the township.

This initiative is in partnership with a national impaired driving crackdown featuring intensified, highly visible enforcement activities using the tagline "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over."

The focus will be on finding motorists who are operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances.

Roving Patrol Details are funded by a PennDOT grant and are one of many tools used to increase public safety through increased awareness created by high profile enforcement.
