Early Dismissal For Lower Merion School District Monday, Jan 8

The National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory which is effective from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, Jan. 8.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA – The Lower Merion School District is dismissing students early Monday, Jan. 8 as wintry weather is expected to descend on the region Monday afternoon and evening, making commutes troublesome.

High school students will dismiss at 11:30, middle schoolers at noon, and elementary students at 12:30 p.m. Morning Kindergarten students will be dismissed at the regular time.

Evening Kindergarten services have been canceled, as well.

Additionally, all after school activities, including the evening's board meeting, have been canceled.

A winter weather advisory has been issued in Eastern Pennsylvania for a mix of sleet and snow Monday, the National Weather Service said.
