What do we know about the representations of America and its indigenous people in early modern Jewish texts? In her lecture, Limor Mintz-Manor will examine the ways that Jewish writers adapted and modified the emerging knowledge about the New World during the Age of Discovery. She will focus on the unique ways that Jews processed the new discoveries and integrated them into their distinctive worldviews.
