This is the first in a pair of workshops which will include an introduction to active listening and related communication skills, a demonstration of these skills, and opportunities to practice these skills.
This workshop will be led by Ellen Berman M.D., Dept Psychiatry, University of Pennsylvania.
It will teach active listening skills that will help family members resolve conflicts about how to best help a mentally ill loved one.
