Jewelry, Cash Stolen In Penn Valley Home Burglary: Police

Lower Merion Police said a Stacey Road home was broken into Saturday night and jewelry and cash were stolen.

PENN VALLEY, PA — A Lower Merion Township home was broken into over the weekend, according to police.

Lower Merion Police said a home on the 200 block of Stacey Road in the Penn Valley section of the township was broken into Saturday.

The break-in occurred at 7:08 p.m. on Saturday.

Police said someone got into the hose by breaking the back glass patio door.

After getting inside the home, the burglars stole a wooden jewelry box and its contents, as well as a black and brown gym bag that had cash in it.

Police described the burglars as two thin people wearing dark clothing.

The burglars left the area in a newer, light-colored mini van, possibly a Honda Odyssey.

The van was last seen heading west on Stacey Road toward Wynne Lane.
