JewishWynnewood.com Aims To Draw More Jewish Families To Area

WYNNEWOOD, PA – Two Wynnewood Jewish centers have been awarded a sizeable grant that will help them encourage more Jewish people to move to the Main Line town. Chabad of Penn Wynne private school and the Congregation Beth Hamedrosh were recipients of a $20,000 grant from the Kohelet Foundation in Narberth.

According to the Jewish Exponent, the funds will be used to promote Wynnewood as a prime destination for Jewish families in the Philadelphia area.

JewishWynnewood.com is one of the ways the school and synagogue are enticing more Jewish families to move to the Main Line.

The website features tons of information that promotes the area.

Jobs, housing, education, events, lifestyle information, and much more are all featured to draw in interested families.

It even breaks down the number of schools, stores, synagogues, and much more in handy, easy to digest infographics.

"What I like about this area is my children have friends with children a couple years older than them, a
couple years younger than them," Rabbi Yonah Gross from Beth Hamedrosh told the Jewish Exponent. "And they are also friendly and have great relationships with members of the shul that are old enough to be their grandparents. They have many surrogate bubbes, zeides, uncles, aunts. That’s a great experience that they’ve had growing up."
