Large Piece Of Equipment Stolen In Lower Merion

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Lower Merion are asking for help as they investigate the theft of a large piece of equipment.
A Hitachi ZW805B wheel loader, valued at $65,000, was stolen on Dec. 19 from the parking lot of 50 Monument Road, police said.
Video in the area showed a red tractor trailer, possibly an early 2000s Kenworth with black fenders, enter the parking lot at 9 p.m. on Dec. 19.

The truck then drove over to 401 City Ave., then the wheel loader was driven across Monument Road to 401 City Ave. where it was loaded onto the tractor trailer.
Police said the truck then pulled out of 401 City Ave. at 9:52 p.m. then went north on City Avenue toward Interstate 76.
